Heavy weights (Oct 24, 2007 at 2:44 PM) - Hi Paula,
I posted this
over on the
weight training
thread and
thought
I'd post
it here too.
It seems that
there are very
few workouts
that utilize
heavier weights
and less reps.
I'm tired
of so many reps
and would love
some
suggestions for
shorter, heavy,
less rep
workouts.
Any
suggestions?
TIA!! - posted by gardengirl in Ask Paula
Re: NY1 story on Mirabai Holland (Oct 2, 2007 at 9:34 AM) - Thanks for the
link Ruth. I
agree with
everything
Mirabai said
about starting
out by doing
too much too
soon.
That's
what most
people do, and
that's why
they quit right
away. Most
people seem to
think that
unless you jump
right into half
hour workouts
everyday, and
feel sore all
the time that
you're not
really
"exercisin
g". - posted by PaulaZ in Ask Paula |
